Blepharitis
There are many types of blephartitis which can cause sore irritable red eyes. There are a variety of treatments for these conditions.
Chalazion
A chalzion occurs when one of the oil producing glands in the eyelid becomes blocked. This can be treated in the out patient department with a small procedure to drain the cyst.
Dermatochalsis
Excess skin over the upper eyelids can give a heavy feeling over the eyes and even obstruct the vision. Surgical removal of this excess skin can relieve the heavy feeling, clear the visual obstruction and improve the appearance.
Ectropion & Entropion
Eye lids can turn or out. Surgical correction of these eyelid malpositions are possible.
